Description

The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts was the initial phase of building for the Cerritos Town Center development. The arts center was a grouping of buildings designed for theater performances, meetings, receptions, and other gatherings. The main focus is the theater, which was designed by Myers to have five different configurations, which could be changed based on the type of performance. The buildings were carefully massed to work with the surroundings-- a hotel complex, shopping center, and freeways.
