Hunt & Chambers: Boyleston apartments (Evanston, Ill.)

Description

Myron Hunt attended Northwestern University in Evanston, then studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, traveled in Europe for a few years, and finally returned to Evanston to work for the Boston-based firm Shepley, Rutan and Coolidge. In 1899 he designed this Georgian Revival style six-unit apartment building on Clark Street.
