Description

The Maurice and Alice Orans House was located on a steeply sloped small lot in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles. The garage was built at street level with entrance and exit doors; the curved driveway allows for easy entrance and egress, extra parking, and to eliminate the need to back out onto a busy street. The house rises above the garage in four levels- bedrooms, service areas, maid's room, and main living areas. Multiple terraces on different levels provide ample outdoor space.
