Roland Coate: Lippiatt house (Bel Air, Calif.)

Description

Coate built this house for Mrs. H.C. Lippiatt and Mrs. F.M.P. Taylor in a Colonial Revival style, with influences of Spanish, Monterey, and New Orleans styles. The house backs onto the Bel Air Country Club golf course, and is close to the campus of UCLA.
