Master Plan - Scheme "A" Revised
Description
This early plan from Charles Luckman Associates shows a greater density of buildings in the central campus core, with multiple buildings surrounding the central and north quadrangles. Physical and Biological Science buildings are grouped on the east side of campus, along with the Social Sciences. The Humanities, Arts, and Music are in the center of the area, with "Professional Schools" near the western edge, closer to Isla Vista. Large parking lots are scattered throughout campus, though the central area is free from roads and vehicles.
