Campus Landscape Plan -- Soule and Murphy
Description
A rendering of the landscape plan for the campus. This plan orients south at the top of the plan, with the lagoon and ocean at the top and left of the image. Three quadrangles (south, east, and northwest) are shown originating from a central point. A semi-circle of residence halls faces the lagoon, with an outdoor theater at the water's edge. The recreational area at the lower right contains baseball diamond, running track, driving range, football field, and general athletic fields separated into men's and women's. Landscaping is highlighted in this plan, including an arboretum and natural landscaping around the lagoon. This plan was not adopted; the only buildings Soule & Murphy built were Webb Hall and Library I (with Chester Carjola).
