World War II Marine base and future site of the UC Santa Barbara campus: view of buildings
Description
A photograph of de-commissioned buildings on the former Marine base, possibly former officers' quarters.. Some of this type of building are still being used today for office space, including housing the ROTC and Military Science department. During the early years of the campus, these buildings were used as dormitories for male students until new residence halls were built.
